Subscription Plan

Terms of Service.

  • Clients taking out a subscription plan agree to the terms and conditions set out below and any subsequent amendments to them.

  • Weekly lesson subscribers are entitled to receive 40 lessons per annum at a fixed weekly timeslot which can be altered and agreed between Adam’s Music Tuition and the client.

  • Variations of the subscription plan (e.g. fortnightly lessons) can be arranged and agreed upon with Adam’s Music Tuition and will be calculated relative to the cost of a weekly subscription.

  • The subscription fee is calculated as the number of annual lessons multiplied by the current hourly rate advertised at AdamsMusicTuition.com and split evenly in to 12 monthly payments. A discount is applied to the hourly rate which may vary depending on the nature of the subscription.

  • There will be 12 weeks of the year where appointments are not included. These 12 weeks will roughly coincide with school holidays set by Fife Council and will vary from year to year. 2 weeks holiday are allotted for each of the Easter, October and Christmas holidays and 6 weeks allotted for summer holidays. Monthly payments will still occur as normal during these periods. This means that in some months a client will receive 4 or 5 lessons and other months in which the holiday periods occur will receive fewer.

  • Subscription customers are entitled to further lessons at their usual weekly timeslot or at a different time that can be agreed between the client and Adam’s Music Tuition during school holiday times. These lessons shall be booked and paid on a pay-as-you-go basis at off-peak rates.

  • One months notice must be given to cancel a subscription. Once notice has been given by the client the next payment that is due to occur shall be taken as the final payment. Lessons shall continue up to but not including the calendar week of the date that the following monthly payment would have been due. This is to allow time for the teacher to book in a new client to start the following month at the timeslot being vacated.

  • Missed appointments that have been given more than 48 hours notice can be rescheduled for an alternative time or date at the discretion of Adam’s Music Tuition and/or the teacher booked to carry out said appointment. Every effort will be made to find a suitable alternative appointment time/date. In the event that no suitable alternative appointment can be arranged then the client shall not be refunded.

  • Clients who do not show up to scheduled appointments and give no advanced notice will not be entitled to an alternative appointment or refund.

  • Appointments cancelled at the behest of Adam’s Music Tuition shall be reimbursed by way of an alternative appointment. This can be offered in the same calendar week as the cancelled lesson or offered as a credit to be reimbursed at a later date either during school term time or within school holiday periods. Should the client and Adam’s Music Tuition not be able to agree on an alternative appointment then a refund of the missed lesson will be issued at the hourly rate including any discounts that have been applied as a consequence of the subscription terms.

  • In the event of a missed payment, Adam’s Music Tuition will attempt to contact the client to resolve the issue and future lessons will be temporarily put on hold until the issue is resolved. Any client who refuses to pay a missed payment will result in the client immediately losing their agreed timeslot and no further lessons shall be carried out until payment is received or until alternative arrangements are agreed between Adam’s Music Tuition and the client.

  • The first payment of any subscription plan shall be taken on the date of the first paid lesson following agreement between the client and Adam’s Music Tuition that a subscription shall be started and when the client has agreed to these terms of service.

  • Adam’s Music Tuition withholds the right to increase the amount of monthly payments at any time with 2 payment months advanced notice to coincide with and relative to an increase in the pay-as-you-go rate advertised on AdamsMusicTuition.com.
